There just are not many good tapas options around the Triangle. Our previous attempt, at Terra Nova, was for great food, but not the tapas that we had hoped for. The Red Room on Glenwood bills itself as a great Tapas place - and with a reasonable menu online, we gave it a try.

First off, on Sunday - they have a "tapas tasting" - about a dozen items off then menu in a buffett style. While not exactly my definition of a Tapas style presentation, it did offer us the opportunity to try a wide selection without the normal expense.

The tapas tasting including paella - we selected a seafood paella; it was a bit on the salty side, but overall, it was great.

Dessert included a chocolate fondue bar - a great finish. Definitely worth trying it out..
