I agree with you about Crema on Fayetteville Street. It is a great shop. Several of us go there 2-3 times a day plus weekends. They serve REAL FOOD! The soups are all homemade in the store, the sandwiches are wonderful, the salads are crisp and fresh and garnished with homemade dressings (3 of them are family recipes), the coffee is incredible and something to look forward to each morning. The ice cream is silky smooth and dense at the same time with unlimited choices. The specialty drinks are indredible. They can even accomodate customers, especially children who need to be lactose free. The shop itself is immaculate and the staff is friendly and it appears that they never forget a face along with their customers' favorite selections. Now, how wonderful is all of that???!!!! Other eating establishments could take a few lessons from them.

The custard is not thick enough, we left in a huff. It should stay on your spoon, but it melted all too soon. Custard this thin in consistency could make me crabby. I will now have to write to columnist Dear Abby.
